The challenge map serves to align the mobility related challenges faced in urban spaces with existing and possible future technological solutions. 

 

The challenge areas were mapped with the input from smart mobility ecosystem stakeholders. Each challenge area includes affiliated categories and a list of startup companies with relevant solutions to the challenge category. This mapping process is evolving, dynamic and continuous as our cities and needs for moving people and goods are constantly changing. New solutions are created and added as the nature of the challenges shift.

 

This platform is intended for use by public and private sector entities alike to connect them to startup technologies which could provide a relevant solution to their challenge. 

 

Furthermore, where there are few or no existing solutions to an existing challenge category, the map serves to highlight the blue ocean opportunities for innovation by entrepreneurs.
